Rylan had his first preschool field trip this week with the our home school group. We went to Hitchcock Nature center where he learned about owls native to the state of Iowa. He also went on a nature walk and climbed to the top of the observation tower. The most exciting part of the trip however, was dissecting real owl pellets. It was gross! Rylan, of course, thought it was awesomely cool.

Lucky us! Rylan brought all the little bones home in a baggie. Great.
