September Nights

I have to say, this is the most fabulous September yet! I want to spend every evening outside and I'm just waiting for the leaves to start falling off our trees so I can burn magnificent piles of them. Tonight we thinned out my wildflower bed and started putting up mint in the freezer to use in the winter.- something I haven't ever tried before, but I am hoping will result in tasty mint fudge at Christmastime. It was a beautiful evening. We could hear the high school marching band across town playing at one of the first football games of the season. I love living in a small town! Yay for Fall!
